Monday 31st March 2025

Asked by: Lord Lipsey (Labour - Life peer)

Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask His Majesty's Government what plans they have to review the system that sets the remuneration paid to those serving on juries.

Answered by Lord Ponsonby of Shulbrede

Jury service is an important civic duty, and we want to help jurors feel supported as they undertake this important job. The Government will keep under review all financial and accessibility support provided to jurors throughout their service.
