@barry_halverson @YeahNoMaybeUmmm @Hippiepig The water companies will deliver (more or less) whatever level of investment the regulator tells them to provided their financing costs can be reimbursed by the bill-payer. What you’re really saying is that OFWAT should have agreed much higher bills. Maybe you’re right.
@BarbaraDixon__ @barry_halverson @YeahNoMaybeUmmm @Hippiepig You seem to know very little about the water sector. I think there’s lots wrong with it but at least I’ve taken the trouble to find out it works.
@FoneStill @RossLydall @Councillorsuzie @CityHallTories @HMRCgovuk V Hart vs Pepper.
@hartsfiob @YvetteCooperMP @UKLabour @metpoliceuk Do you think @SadiqKhan has any role in running @metpoliceuk ? Or is his role only ornamental?
@YvetteCooperMP Under a @UKLabour Mayor, @metpoliceuk is in special measures and public confidence has collapsed, Yvette.
@BobTayl55287777 @supply_teach I don’t hate anyone. If that’s your only way of responding to fact and argument, let’s end it there.
@Muinchille No.
@BobTayl55287777 @supply_teach Is that the best you can do?
@barry_halverson @YeahNoMaybeUmmm @Hippiepig The private companies have spent about £6bn a year in capital investment in water infrastructure for some years now. You’d have to replace that before you did anything else. Where’s it to come from? You see why Labour’s not promising to nationalise them?
@bdhoffman_ The Rt Hon the Lord Lawson of Blaby.
