To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what assessment she has made of the implications for stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina of members of the Peace Implementation Council not reaching consensus on the High Representative; and what steps the UK is taking with international partners in response.

The UK is committed to upholding the peace, stability and constitutional order in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), in line with the Dayton Peace Agreement. We support maintaining the role of a fully empowered High Representative to uphold this. With our partners in the Peace Implementation Council, the UK is focused on rapidly identifying and appointing a suitable successor and maintaining engagement on BiH stability. In parallel, we continue to engage with political leaders in BiH and neighbouring countries to encourage constructive engagement and deter destabilising actors

I refer the Hon Member to the statement made by the Foreign Secretary to the House on 18 November 2025, regarding the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Our position remains that only the United Nations and their partners can deliver the scale of aid required.

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what steps his Department is taking to help ensure that humanitarian aid is being received into the Gaza Strip.

The UK continues pushing for safe, unhindered humanitarian access to Gaza, in line with international law. A significant portion of our Financial Year 2024/25 funding has already reached Gaza, including life-saving medical supplies. Some remain prepositioned at border crossings or in regional warehouses due to access constraints. We also announced an additional £7.5 million support package to bolster medical care in Gaza and the region, including further funding for UK-Med, World Health Organization Egypt, and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs Occupied Palestinian Territories Humanitarian Fund. On 19 May, the UK issued a joint statement urging Israel to allow full aid resumption and independent access for humanitarian actors.
