@macadee10 @mrbannister1980 @scottishgas @BritishGas So I wrote to British Gas to ask them to tell me explicitly what they were doing and they confirmed they are reducing the per unit of energy cost in line with DD customers AND same with daily standing charges.
I dont know this poor woman's circumstances but this is what I was trying to avoid by campaigning for all those on #pensioncredit to get the £650 #costofliving payment & not just those who applied by last Aug. But my focus is ensuring you, as a #prepayment customer don't pay MORE for your energy than I, as a direct debit customer, do. Then I will get onto the rest.
@macadee10 @scottishgas @BritishGas The budget offers something to equalise the per unit cost but it depends how much you use, it's not straightforward. Also it doesnt address the daily standing charges. I am crediting them because they are the first to do it & I want others to follow suit.
