Question to the Department for Exiting the European Union :
To ask the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, whether the Government plans to include a multilateral deal on public country-by-country reporting as part of its negotiations on leaving the EU.
Answered by Steve Baker
The UK has led international action to enhance tax transparency, and believes a multilateral approach to public country-by-country reporting would help ensure effective implementation.
We have raised public country-by-country reporting with international partners and the Government will continue to engage with our international partners, including at EU level, on this issue.
