Question to the Department for Exiting the European Union :

To ask the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, what discussions his Department has had with Oldham Council on preparations for the UK leaving the EU without a withdrawal agreement.

Answered by James Duddridge

The Department continues to engage across all regions of the country to ensure that the country as a whole is ready for Brexit, whatever the circumstances, on 31 October. It is a UK Government priority to ensure preparedness across both the country and the economy, including through working closely with local government.
