Clearly, not everything is perfect here. There's a lots to do to make public transport more attractive to achieve the modal shift from cars we need to make Scotland net zero, but I'm glad the Scottish Gov't takes these issues seriously, compared to the circus in Westminster. 3/3
🚲 Scotland spends at least 30 times more per head on active travel than England outside of London. 🚄 Rail decarbonisation in Scotland is going ahead at a pace outstripping the network in England. 🚍 Scotland has ordered 10 times more zero emission buses than England. 2/3
Productive meetings in Edinburgh today with Karen McGregor of @SustransScot & Colin Howden of @TransformScot talking sustainable transport policy. Scotland absolutely has its challenges, but we are light years ahead of what's happening down south in sustainable transport. 1/3 https://t.co/FfQntWLg76

@carolvorders @LeeAndersonMP_ He's really not very clever. Called me a prick in the chamber last week and offered to continue the conversation outside. He's a neanderthal.
@GeorgeAdam @fraz_b_smfc @macfarlanebruce @MhairiBlack Hi, Unable to see the original tweet, but I see that George has picked it up in any event.
Good to join Cllr Fiona Airlie Nicolson at a joint surgery in Langbank this afternoon. As usual, a nice picturesque walk to and from Langbank, too. No rain. Yet. https://t.co/Dnok4twqu1
@BlackIslePMD That much, I should have known!
@croftmouse I respectfully disagree. I think my responses suggest that I do take the issue seriously and that I take any suggestion that I unintentionally disrespected the H&I seriously, too. What I don't take seriously was Torcuils specific line, which I satirised.
