Stopped cross examination of victim by perp -Lab amendment Made refuge a stat duty -Lab amendment Recognise children as victims -Lab amendment Made abuse orders include work places -Lab amendment I could go on. We will do same to victims bill & make gov do stuff they talk about

Like the DA Bill it was Labour amendments and campaigning that got anything that will actually change anything for people on the ground. The Conservatives have at best just given lip service to this in papers and never do detailed work necessary.

Ministers go on airwaves & plead they care, promise they will make people attend court, say they want mandatory reporting of abuse & they don't want gang rapists seeing their kids, then they bring forward bill that doesn't include it. @K_IngalaSmith It was watching my mom die torturously that made me certain too, a woman who campaigned for choice over her body her whole life left ravaged by it. She likely wouldn't have used it but would have wanted the choice. Sending love x
