Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what recent assessment his Department has made of the potential impact of economic inactivity on national GDP.

In the Autumn Statement on 17 November, the Chancellor set out to the House the Office for Budget Responsibility’s latest economic forecasts. These include forecasts for GDP and take into account recent data on the labour market.
