Question to the Department for International Development:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, how much his Department spent on (a) opinion polling and (b) focus groups in each month since January 2019.

Answered by Wendy Morton - Shadow Minister (Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office)

Between January and September 2019 the Department for International Development ran a nationally representative survey to assess the level of demand for sustainable investment practices at cost of £44,950. There was no other departmental budget spent on opinion polling or focus groups in the UK in 2019.
