Question to the Department for Business and Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, how many companies have been fined for a breach of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005 in each year since 2018.

Answered by Kevin Hollinrake - Shadow Minister without Portfolio

The General Product Safety Regulations 2005 (GPSR) do not contain provisions for fines to be issued by regulators. Fines issued to companies for a breach of GPSR would be issued by a court. Information about such fines is not held centrally.
