Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, if he will review the operation of the Small Brewers Relief scheme to remove barriers to growth for the UK's small and medium-sized brewers.
Answered by Andrew Jones
The Treasury engages with a wide variety of organisations to understand industry developments, including the beer and pub industry and public health groups. This government is aware of concerns about Small Brewers Relief, it has invited views on how it can be reformed in a way that the whole sector could support. All taxes are kept under review at fiscal events, and we will consider these issues carefully as part of the Autumn Budget process.

Answered by Mel Stride - Secretary of State for Work and Pensions
The government has previously considered the case for a UK wide VAT reduction for tourism related activities.
All taxes are kept under review and we remain open to fresh evidence and to further engagement on the effect of VAT on tourism.
