Fund more research into women’s health to improve care and treatment

The Government must fund more research into women’s health. We need more understanding surrounding the healthcare needs of woman/ people with female reproductive systems. We want to stop being continually dismissed and being put on the pill for whatever issue we go to our GPs about.

Time and time again, we feel that females and people with female reproductive organs, are continuously dismissed by medical practitioners whenever we approach them about sexual health or problems with our reproduction organs. Often, we are told it's our period or an STI, and given contraception to "fix" the problem. Often, we go undiagnosed with our issues, sometimes until it's too late. People are physically, mentally, and emotionally suffering because of the sheer lack of care and understanding surrounding our bodies. More research is urgently needed to help improve this situation.
