Mandatory prison sentences for anyone employing people not entitled to work

Pass a law to introduce a mandatory prison sentence for anyone who employs a person who is not entitled to work. This is already an offence, but we want it to be subject to a mandatory custodial sentence.

We believe there are too many people entering the UK illegally and then disappearing into the black economy by being given work by unscrupulous employers. This is already against the law but we believe present penalties applied by the courts are not deterring employers who flout the law. We think a mandatory prison sentence for each illegal employee would be a better deterrent.
