As a nation, we should make it a specific criminal offence to use any form of AI generated content or generative language model within any media that is presented as factual.

I believe it's essential that we draw a hard line in the sand when it comes to using AI and generative language models early on in their adoption. I believe this might not only help to stop the spread of disinformation but also help to restore public trust in the media. This, in turn, could help British factual media to maintain its good reputation.
