Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, with reference to the Answer of 20 July 2022 to Question HL1406 on Bahrain: Human Rights, for what reason his Department did not provide specific dates to the Answer of 1 December 2022 to Question HL3383 on Mohammed Ramadhan.

I refer the Hon. Member to the answers from the Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa, Lord (Tariq) Ahmad to HL3383 of 1 December, HL2556 of 26 October and HL2934 of 9 November. The UK continues to closely follow developments on matters that relate to human rights within Bahrain.
