The Ministry of Justice has published information on the number of defendants prosecuted and convicted for importing firearms and other weapons

in England & Wales over the last 5 years, up to the year ending December 2018. This data is available in the Principal offence proceedings and outcomes by Home Office offence code data tool available here:

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/804510/HO-code-tool-principal-offence-2018.xlsx

To find the numbers of individuals convicted of crimes related to the importation of weapons in each year use the ‘Offence code’ filter to select offences ‘08173’, ‘08179’ and ‘08181’. The number of individuals convicted of these crimes in each year will then be shown in row 32.
