Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:
To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, whether an election will take place in 2018 to elect a Mayor for the Sheffield City Region.

Parliament has legislated for a mayoral election in May 2018 in the Sheffield City Region, and the Government has no intention of seeking any further legislation to undo what has already been enacted.
