Juries: Sign Language

Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, whether he has made an assessment of the potential merits of bringing forward proposals to amend the Juries Act 1974 to allow for a sign language interpreter not to be considered as an extra juror.
This question was answered on 16th October 2017
There are no current plans to amend the Juries Act 1974.
