Permanent Secretaries: Pay

Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the answer of 10 June 2026, to Question 7317, on Permanent Secretaries: Pay, if he will publish the business case to pay a Permanent Secretary a salary greater than £300,000.

There are no plans to publish individual pay business cases. A permanent secretary salary greater than £300,000 is approved in line with the senior pay control process set by HM Treasury.
