Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether disparities in (a) outcomes and (b) experiences of care for mothers and babies has been reduced since the publication of the Women’s Health Strategy.

The Office for National Statistics publishes an annual analysis on stillbirth and neonatal mortality rates, including by ethnicity and deprivation. As the latest available data is from 2021, no specific assessment has been made since the publication of the Women’s Health Strategy.
