Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what discussions his Department has had with the Department for Education on the inclusion of menopause in RSHE curriculums in schools since the publication of the Women’s Health Strategy for England in August 2022.

Officials engage with the Department for Education on a range of issues, including the Women’s Health Strategy. The Government’s introduction of compulsory Relationships, Sex and Health Education in all schools in 2020 aims to increase knowledge of women’s health, including menopause.
