Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what support is available to patients diagnosed with generalised or partial lipodystrophy who live far away from specialised treatment centres.

Lipodystrophy is a very rare metabolic condition so the national Severe Insulin Resistance service provides education and advice to services where patients are being treated locally.
