Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, pursuant to the Answer of 18 October 2017 to Question 107170 on magistrates: Warrington, when and for what reasons his Department decided to cease collection of data on the gender and residence of members of the magistracy.
This question was answered on 30th October 2017
Data on the gender and residence of members of the magistracy is collected by my Department. The cross referencing and collation of the data required to answer Question 107170 could only be obtained at disproportionate cost.
