Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, pursuant to the Answer of 9 October 2017 to Question 105344, whether there is a timetable for the completion of the work to assess the carbon reduction potential of separate food waste collections in England; and whether the results of that work will be published.

The analysis of carbon reduction potential of introducing separate food waste collections in England will form part of the evidence base for the Resources and Waste Strategy. The Resources and Waste Strategy will be published in 2018.
