Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, if he will visit the court building in Sunderland to assess the need for refurbishment.

HM Courts & Tribunals Service recognises the need for refurbishment of Sunderland Magistrates’ Court. We are committed to maintaining and improving the building. Work is already planned to address safety, security and accessibility concerns. A recent condition survey highlighted a number of issues which will be addressed in order of priority as soon as is reasonably practical and as resources allow.
