Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many community orders for violent and sexual offences were made last year.
This question was answered on 13th November 2017
The number of offenders sentenced to a community order, in England and Wales, from 2010 to 2016 (latest available), with those sentenced for violence against the person and sexual offences separately identifiable and selectable for 2016 alone, can be found in the Criminal Justice Statistics data tool as part of the Criminal Justice Statistics quarterly (December 2016), linked below, on gov.uk.
