There has been, and will continue to be, constructive engagement between the UK Government and the Welsh Government on the issue of the UK’s exit from the EU. Most recently the Prime Minister and I met with the First Minister on 30 October, and a number of issues related to EU exit, including its impact on the Welsh economy, were discussed.

The Office of the Secretary of State for Wales will continue to work with other Government departments, and the Welsh Government, to support the Welsh economy and promote a prosperous Wales within a strong United Kingdom.
