Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what assessment he has made of the availability of the children's influenza vaccine; and if he will make a statement.

The National Health Service vaccination programme currently offers the flu vaccination to children aged two to eight years old.

There is currently a good supply of influenza vaccine for those children who are eligible as part of the national programme. Immunisation appointments are organised locally by general practices or school immunisation teams.
