Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, pursuant to the Answer on 13 December to Question 96638 on Breast Cancer: Screening, by which date he expects the data to be validated.
This question was answered on 21st December 2022
NHS England has advised that the information requested is collected for management purposes and it has no plans to validate the data.
NHS Digital will publish data on the breast screening programme in England 2021/22 in February 2023. This will include data on women invited for breast screening, coverage, uptake of invitations, outcomes of screening and cancers detected.
