Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what discussions he has had with his NATO counterparts on locating NATO's North Atlantic command in the UK.
This question was answered on 16th November 2017
At their meeting on 8 and 9 November 2017, NATO Defence Ministers agreed the outline design for an adapted NATO Command Structure, which will now be the basis for further work. This will include the establishment of a Command for the Atlantic, no decisions on its location have been made.
