Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, whether requirements for religious content will be included in the new BBC Charter.

The overall scale and scope of the BBC, including the provision of different genres, is part of the Charter Review discussion. The public consultation looked at these issues and closed on 8 October having received more than 190,000 responses. In the coming months we will continue to listen to the views of the public, industry and this House as proposals for the future of the BBC are developed.
