The Department provides no-fault compensation for illness, injuries, and deaths attributable to service through the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme. PAX Personal Accident insurance is a private insurance product from a commercial provider, AON UK. It is a matter of individual choice for personnel whether to take out a PAX insurance policy, as is the level of insurance cover for which they pay their premium. Any claim and subsequent award made is handled between the commercial provider and the individual, with no input from the Department. As such, the Ministry of Defence does not hold the requested information and any such data will be solely held by the commercial provider.
