Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what estimate he has made changes to the level of income of GP practices as a result of patients enrolling in the GP at Hand service.
Patients have the ability to change the general practitioner (GP) surgery they are registered with and since January 2015 all GP practices in England have had the option to register patients that live outside their practice boundary area.
Hammersmith and Fulham Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS England recognise the need to ensure general practice is stable and sustainable. The roll-out and impact of GP at Hand will be monitored and evaluated.
