Prisoners: Russia

Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, pursuant to the Answer of 16 November 2017 to Question 111777 on prisoners: Russia, whether he has had made representations to the Russian embassy on the repatriation of Russian passport holders held in UK prisons.
This question was answered on 24th November 2017
We have made no such representations. Both the United Kingdom and the Russian Federation are signatories to the Council of Europe Convention on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons.
