The Ross Fund is a portfolio of programmes, identified in the UK Aid Strategy, led by DFID and the Department of Health (DH), aimed at combatting the world's most serious diseases. Details are set out at the link below https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/494584/Ross_Fund_Publication_final.pdf

The two Departments jointly developed the objectives of the Ross Fund Portfolio and agreed their respective areas of work. There is regular ongoing coordination and joint strategic oversight between DFID and DH. Senior managers and programme officials, from each department, meet quarterly, to ensure strategic oversight of the work across the two Departments.
