When a victim of modern slavery is referred into the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) they are offered access to a safe house or outreach support to facilitate their recovery. Details of the location of safe houses are not shared widely to ensure the safety of residents. Victims of modern slavery who are resident in safe houses are assisted by their support worker to access the support they need from statutory services.
