Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what progress has been made by Health Education England on developing standards for prescribing that include the risks and benefits of medication, personal preferences, and preventative health support for people with mental health diagnoses.

Health Education England does not develop standards for prescribing. Where a profession has prescribing responsibilities, the standards will be set by the regulator of that profession.
