Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, with reference to Homes England’s press release entitled Homes England opens bidding for ten year Social and Affordable Homes Programme, published on 24 February 2026, what criteria were used to determine the 60% figure for the number of homes to be delivered under the Social and Affordable Homes Programme 2026–2036 for social rent.
