Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, with reference to Homes England’s press release entitled Homes England opens bidding for ten year Social and Affordable Homes Programme, published on 24 February 2026, what assessment he has made of the potential impact of the Social and Affordable Homes Programme 2026–2036 on waiting lists for social housing in (a) Basildon, (b) Thurrock and (c) Essex.
