Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what steps he is taking to provide greater transparency for shared ownership residents throughout the application and remediation process.

We expect responsible entities to inform all leaseholders and residents if they apply for government funding for remediation. Responsible entities should also inform leaseholders and residents of the nature of the works they intend to carry out and should provide regular updates to leaseholders and residents on the progress of their funding application and remediation works.
