The Ministry of Defence (MOD) may fund redundancy costs to contractors in certain circumstances. The nature of the contract and the specific circumstances of the termination or change would determine exactly how compensation, including any potential redundancy costs, would be calculated. Such costs were not included in the previous answer as that referred solely to the MOD's civilian employees.
