Courts: Legionnaires' Disease

Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, pursuant to the Answer of 17 November 2020 to Question 114854 on Courts: Legionnaires' Disease, how many outbreaks of legionella there have been within the HMCTS estate in the last 12 months; and what the locations were of those outbreaks.

Public Health authorities categorise an outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease as two or more diagnosed cases, contracted from a common source of infection.

There have been no recorded outbreaks of legionella from the HMCTS estate in the last 12 months.
