Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what discussions he has had with the US Administration on its decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

The Foreign Secretary has discussed the issue with the US Secretary of State Tillerson, most recently on 5 December. The Prime Minister set out the UK's position on the US decision in her statement of 6 December.
