Information regarding the cost of detected fraud in the Cabinet Office can be found in the Cabinet Office Annual Report and Accounts and the NAO’s Fraud Landscape Review (2016). The Cabinet Office undertakes sampling exercises to identify anomalies in areas such as travel, subsistence and grants.
