Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, whether he has any plans to reassess the provision of probation services in England and Wales.
This question was answered on 19th December 2017
Following an internal review we have changed CRC contracts to better reflect their costs and we are clear that CRCs must deliver a higher standard of probation services.
We continue to keep the operation of the probation system under close review.
