Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what estimate he has made of the number of (a) Magistrate Court and (b) Crown Court sitting days lost due to the Common Platform since its introduction.

We do not record data on sitting days lost due to Common Platform performance. Sitting days are the number of days that judges or magistrates sit in court each year to hear cases brought before them. The listing of cases into allocated sitting days is a matter for the independent judiciary.
