Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, pursuant to the Answer of 19 December 2017 to Question 118449, what estimate his Department has made of the change in the amount of money collected in fees by the Animal and Plant Health Agency under the Bovine Semen (England) Regulations 2007, as amended, between 2014 and 2016.
The level of fees charged and collected in a given financial year are a reflection on the amount of activity that is undertaken for the appropriate process at the published charge out rates. These rates have been unaltered for the past three years and the only variable is the amount of activity undertaken by the Animal and Plant Health Agency’s inspectors.
