Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many applications for grant of probate have been made in each of the last five years for which records are available.

The information below provides details of the number of grants of probate issued by the Probate service in each of the last five years.

Since January 2015 the Information contained in the response in regards to number of applications for a grant that have issued is in the public domain and is published in the quarterly Family Court statistics.
