Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, on how many occasions wings of privately-owned prisons have been closed due to insufficient staff levels in the 12 months.
This question was answered on 8th January 2018
Over the last 12 months, from January 2017 – December 2017, there has been no wing closures in privately managed prisons due to insufficient staffing levels.
